Answer by Ed Atun
BD is looking to pick up business in the categories where other lenders refuse to lend. They are offering loans with no appraisals. That is to avoid the typical “upside down” problem of having no equity. They are loaning to people with bad credit. They are loaning 2nd loans at a time when few others are doing so.
All of those features are a warning sign that you will have to pay more money to get a loan. All 3 types put the borrower into the “risky” category. In lending, high risk means higher costs.

Question by Bart S: To all ppl with mortgages and bad credit?
Pay you’re damn mortgage on time. Because of ppl like you, the US dollar is crashing and the US dollar will lost 50% of its value in a couple of years. And if you can’t afford a mortgage, then dont get one!!!!!!!. Isn’t there anything that can be done about this?

Actually its not all their fault, alot of banks approved sub prime loans with very little requirements i.e. Stated income, State assets, 100% financing and so on. So everyone wanted the american dream of owning a home with no money down hoping that their values would increase. Which caused this huge problem of a declining home market.
It will change, its all a cycle.
